After several hours of trying to come to terms with this devastating news, I’m still horrified and deeply saddened by the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight of this country’s comrades.
The scale of this disaster is overwhelming. Their horrific passing is not only a devastating blow to their families, but also a profound loss to a nation they so selflessly served, protected, and helped build.
